How to set up and manage tags. Use tags as criteria for tasks, files and projects.

Go to the Admin panel and click on the Privileges tab.
In the List of privileges menu, go to Features > Tags.
Select which profile of privileges that can view and use tags as a filter in your account.
CONFIDENTIALITY: If tag names contain confidential or private data such as "Bad customer", "Product deprecated soon", etc., do not allow Guest profiles to have these privileges, as they can potentially view all your tag names.
Add or remove tags on items
Select profiles that can add or remove tags on items.
Select profiles that can create, delete, merge or color tags.
You can access the Manage tags window:
- from the main "+" menu,
- from the Tags icon of the Admin panel,
- from the More menu of the Files, Tasks and Groups applications.
You can sort tags by color, tag name, or number of tagged items.
Merge tags together
Click on the Merge button of the tag to be merged. Select the targeted tag and that's it!
Delete a tag
Click on the Trash button of the tag you want to delete. The tag will be removed from all items.
When unchecked, the tag cannot be added on items or selected in the filters of applications.
Number of tagged items and "x"
This is the total number of tagged items within active and archived groups of your account. When "x" is clicked, the tag is removed from the selected items.
This feature is protected by a privilege (see the beginning of this article).
Tags can be added or removed when creating or updating tasks and files, or by using the Group settings window.
You can also find the Tag button on items or in the item's contextual menu.
You can also select multiple items with your mouse and use the Tag button of the application.
Use the Filter button of an application (illustrated below with the Tasks app of a project).
