New improved user management features in your GroupCamp account
Last week’s release has brought a series of new features for account administrators.
Users and Guests Apps – Viewing the list of projects a user is participating in
This is no longer done in the user profile or info view but simply by clicking on the number of projects next to a user in the Users or Guests apps
Personal Invitation message
When inviting a new user to join an online project, it is important to provide to a user some context about who is inviting, why and what they should be expecting. You can now add your own customized message when adding a new user who is not familiar with GroupCamp.
Improving confirmation messages when adding existing users to new projects.
We have implemented new confirmation messages which indicates the number of new projects in which a user has been added.
New 'Delete' tab
If you want to delete multiple users in one selection, this is now possible with one single command with a new ‘Delete’ tab which is displayed each time you make a user selection
New Company button in the Guests App
Prior to this new release, to change the company of an invited guest, administrators had to edit the user info or profile. Although this method is still possible, you can now select multiple users and click on the Company tab.
The tab will therefore allow you to:
- update the Company information for multiple users :
- Change the company for a selection of usres
- Transform selected guests into users (moving them into the Users App).
The Manager role (available in plans Best & Max of GroupCamp Project) have more attributes in the customization of projects. They can now access some of the Administrator privileges such as access Project Settings(to edit project names, email labels, time unit), set private objects options, controlling which companies are allowed to view private objects.
